Description:  Lavender is well known for its flowers and fragrance. It is widely used for perfume, essential oils, medicine, and soaps. This is a great High Desert plant as it need no more than a moderate amount of water and is fairly drought tolerant.

Pruning Advice: Cutting back the plant yearly or every other year helps to keep it from getting leggy. 
Watering Advice: Moderate water or less. Too much water will easily kill this plant. 

Fertilizing: Lavender needs little to no fertilizer. Yes, even in our High Desert soil 🙂
