Description:  Oleanders are drought tolerant, beautiful, and serve as a perfect fast growing privacy screen or windbreak. Many people stay away from them as they are toxic, but the toxicity for humans is a bit overstated. These bushes withstand our harsh high desert environment with no problems at all.

Pruning Advice: Regular pruning is only necessary to control growth if a smaller size is desired. Pruning the plant to the ground before growth in Spring can help restore an old poorly kept or leggy plant.
Watering Advice: Oleanders don’t need too much water once established, but they can handle moderate watering.
