Purple Robe Locust – Robina Pseudoacacia ‘Purple Robe’

Purple Robe Locust is a great shade tree that also provides cascading purple flowers in the Spring. One major downside that people see with Locust trees is suckering and other trees popping up from the roots. This can be managed by giving the tree proper care. Suckers are a response to stress and can be eliminated by regular water, improving soil, and proper pruning.
